Origin of the Term Cougar
In honor of Canada Day, the origin of the term Cougar. It originates from Canada. I lived in Canada for a while and heard Canadians using the term years before anyone else. A Canadian friend was even on a volleyball team made up of late 20 year old men and older sexy ladys.. name of team: 'The Kids and the Cougs'. Young Canadian men spoke about notorious 'cougar bars'. Eventually, I started hearing it on American TV shows (there's tons of Canadians in Hollywood), then eventually everyone was using it. Credit where credit is due, the term migrated from Canada.
